Welcome!

You probably have questions. Here are some answers…

What should I expect?

You should expect to experience a warm welcome from people just like you, a casual atmosphere, a fun, safe environment for your kids, modern worship music played by a band (guitars, drums, keyboard), and practical, conversational teaching from the Bible.

What will happen during the church service?

The band will play a few songs, someone will say a few words to welcome everyone, the pastor will deliver a sermon from the Bible (about 40 minutes in length), and the band will play another song. The service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes total.

Will I be singled out or asked to do anything?

No. We want you to feel the freedom to remain as anonymous as you wish. We’ll request that people fill out a connection card during the service, but you will not be pressured to do so.

Will I be pressured to give money to the church?

No. We encourage those who consider Life Pointe to be their church home to give regularly as an act of worship to God and to help support the church. If you want to give you are free to do so, but we don’t expect you to.

What time should I get there?

The service starts at 9:30 a.m.  We recommend arriving at least 10 or 15 minutes beforehand.

What should I wear?

Many people dress casually at Life Pointe: jeans, shorts, etc., and other people dress up a little. The main thing is, you’ll be welcome however you’re dressed.

What about my kids?

We have child care available during our 9:30 am worship service for children birth through five years old. Children six years and older join us in the worship service. Our Sunday School hour begins at 11:00 am following the worship service, where kids birth through 5th grade attend age-appropriate classes in KidzLife, our children’s ministry for kids birth-5th grade. We perform a national background check on every volunteer who works with children and youth. We also have strict policies in place to ensure that there are always at least two volunteers in every classroom, so that kids are never alone with only one adult. Check out our Kids page here.

What about my kids who are in Middle School and High School?

6th-12th graders (our youth group) join the adults for the worship service at 9:30, and then have their own class during our Sunday School hour at 11:00. Check out our youth page here.
